Climatic changes are everywhere in the media, but they are only one component of global changes. For instance drastic changes in land use
and human practices are currently taking place, resulting in degradations: forest, clear-cuts, overexploitation of natural resources, biological invasions,
pollutions. These changes affect biodiversity at large, from genetic diversity to the diversity of landscapes, with feedback effects upon climate patterns.
